Clark Pest Control, one of the sponsors of the Lodi Grape Festival, is bringing big activities to this year's event.

"Clark Pest Control is literally bringing the rainforest to Lodi," said Nicole Kirwan Keefe, marketing and advertising manager of Clark Pest Control in Lodi.

The Amazing Rainforest Experience brings the sights and sounds of the rainforest, along with Bengal tigers, the rare Asian fishing cat and other endangered species from the rainforest. This display will be the centerpiece of Clark Pest Control's Eco-Venture booth in Cabernet Hall at the Festival.

The Bed Bug Hounds will also make a special appearance. The company works with Clark to detect and identify bed bug infestations. These dogs are trained and certified at the Falco Canine Academy. One dog is a German shepherd and the other is a Jack Russell terrier.

At the Bug Zoo, visitors can hold bugs like the whip scorpion and Madagascar hissing cockroaches. There will be display cases of the Chaco golden knee tarantula, Goliath bird-eating tarantula, Brazilian black and pink toe arboreal tarantulas, emperor scorpion, tailless whip scorpion, and Indian walking sticks. The Bug Zoo will be on display today from noon to 5 p.m.
