As Kurt Schimke leans back on a couch in Grace Community Fellowship Church in Woodbridge, the warm, honest smile on his face makes it clear that he was born to teach, and that is just what he did at African Bible University in Kampala, Uganda.

He returned last weekend and spoke during Sunday Mass, and has since been enjoying time with his wife, Marlene, and their four children as well as his father, Art, 98, who still ushers at the church every Sunday, He also assisted Pastor Dale Hughes with preparations for their men’s retreat this weekend.
