Lodi may explore raising developer fees, which were slashed a few years ago. In 2012. the Lodi City Council approved reducing fees from $15,000 to $5,000 per unit to spark development in the city. The fees are currently scheduled to remain at $5,000 per unit until Dec. 31, 2019.

But with a flurry of new developments planned, the city is exploring the idea of taking a fresh look at the fees, and discussed the idea at a council shirtsleeve session Tuesday morning.
