The California Highway Patrol in Stockton is searching for Nathaniel Alexander Smith, who is approximately 6 feet, 3 inches tall and 260 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.

Smith is wanted in connection with a felony DUI traffic collision causing serious injury to two CHP officers in 2010, and for being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to nine years in state prison, but has failed to surrender.

Smith is presumed violent and dangerous. He was last known to be living in Stockton, but could be anywhere in San Joaquin County.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should contact the Stockton CHP office at 209-943-8600.

"He could be anywhere in SanJoaquin county", I doubt that. Probably not even in California anymore. Wish the article would have stated when he was supposed to turn himself in and why he was allowed bail on such a crime.
