Members of the Lodi Police Mid-Management and Lodi Police Officers associations will give away about 100 Christmas trees on Saturday and Sunday to residents who are financially strained.

The Segale Christmas Tree lot, owned by Randy Hamilton, donated about 60 trees, and an anonymous donor chipped in another 40, according to Cpl. Dale Eubanks. David Shah, owner of California Rock & Ready Mix, collected the trees and arranged for the trees to be transported for the giveaway.

The tree giveaway will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday in the public parking lot adjacent to City Hall, 221 W. Pine St., Lodi. First come, first served.

For more information, call Sgt. Chris Jacobson or Eubanks at 333-6727.
