Making it a personal history coming alive means a lot. Somehow we have been through this before.

My great grandparents were immigrants that marched west in the 1860s just to focus on one of the many webbed family histories. Reading old letters and diaries about everyday life for them is very interesting. They talk of the health issues of their wee ones and how they miss each other as the father sought out a place to start a new life heading west while the wife stayed put on the east coast. Not dissimilar to my own son and his family only it was heading east securing a job instead of west.

Looking for that "pot of gold" even though gold was not my GGP's goal.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
