San Joaquin Regional Transit District has launched a new resource called Talk to Me Maps, a collection of audio and tactile maps of transit boarding areas. The new maps are intended to make navigating RTD’s routes and services easier for blind or visually impaired customers.

The resource includes a braille and large-print map with a talking smartpen that tells riders where to board their buses. The pen will also tell riders which buses stop at a specific station.
