The San Joaquin County Planning Commission will hold a continued public hearing Thursday to discuss the Coldani Family Vineyards’ winery and olive mill proposal.
The Coldanis have proposed to build a winery and mill in two phases over five years. Plans for the first phase include constructing an 11,050-square-foot building that will feature a wineand olive oil-tasting room, bottling and grape crushing, commercial kitchen and an olive mill.
The second phase calls for a 1,500-square-foot storage building.
The project would be located at the southeast corner of Kingdon and Thornton roads, southwest of Lodi.
The public hearing is continued from the commission’s Dec. 19, 2013, meeting. Thursday’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the county Public Health/Planning Auditorium, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave. in Stockton.
