Lodi Unified School District is asking the community to submit suggestions of names for its newest school facility, a community day school, that will be housed at the Henderson School property. The district is also looking for three community members to serve alongside board trustees to name the new school.

This new school will serve sevenththrough 12th-graders who have been expelled from a Lodi Unified school.

There are two meetings on June 15: the Capital Facilities Corp. and the Board meeting. The CDS item is near the end of the Board Meeting agenda under "Other Action Items." If there are problems, you can contact me at my e-mail and I will send you the PowerPoint. (cyoung@lodiusd.net)

    Darrell,
You can read about the intervention program on the Board's Agenda for June 15, 2010, under "Development of New Community Day School (CDS) Program." The URL is http://esbagenda.lodiusd.net/.

Are there any sources that detail what education strategies and opportunities will be available here?... How can one give a great name for school if no information is available that describes what any student would do their while attending.
