Three friends send flood-relief supplies from Lodi to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Tucked away in an auto shop on Pine Street, three men scrambled between mountains of boxes, sorting through $500,000 of medical supplies to be sent to Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina — two countries nearly 6,000 miles away from Lodi.

It was a hot Friday afternoon and sweat was forming on each man’s brow, but it was not hot enough to melt their spirits.
