And while many are upset by the lawsuits, Lodi attorney Russell Humphrey said the business owners have no right to complain. They are the ones out of compliance with the law that was set over 20 years ago, he said, and the lawsuits are legal, no matter how cumbersome they may be...

Really?. Since Mr Humphrey's is happy to follow blindly to laws that are extremely punitive and harsh, he would do just about anything as long as it was legal... At one time, it was legal to own slaves. Maybe if Mr Humphrey had been born two hundred years ago, we would be calling him “Master Humphrey”... after all, it was the law back then and no one should complain if the law is on the books... right Mr Humphrey.
I assure Mr Humphrey, if the opportunity ever presents itself, and I have an opportunity to legally harm him financially, I will tell him not to complain... as its legal. I hope Karma is real and this lawyer gets what he happily dishes out.

Well I truly hope this group can eventually put a halt to all of the absolutely ridiculous lawsuits.

Mr. "Hungry for Money" Humphrey stated "businesses cannot be open to the public if disabled individuals cannot enter." While I completely agree, ALL of the business he and his most likely overweight and broke clients (the only reason I state that is because I have a few wheel chair confined friends who hate the way these "cysts" on society give them a bad name) are currently operating businesses that have been staples in our great community for years and years. Any of them would be more than happy to go out of their way to accommodate anyone needing assistance weather handi-capable or not.

If I were Mr. Humphreys, I would sure watch what type of lawsuits I take on. Lodi is a small community, filled with many small businesses. Heck, I understand Mr. Humphrey’s is an avid golfer and I am sure many of his fellow Golfers and not to mention WG&CC members are small business leaders in the community.

All of these so called attorney’s aka "Ambulance Chasers" absolutely disgust me and I can only hope that our community can somehow run them out... Beginning with Mr. Humphreys.

It's about time someone called these moron lawyers and their "out for quick money" clients to task. They are putting good, honest business owners out of business, or creating debt that translates into increased product cost that is passed on to all of us. If money can make these idiots go away, what was it really worth to them in the first place?
