Flu shots now available

Seasonal flu shots are now available through Lodi Memorial Hospital as well as through San Joaquin County.

Lodi Memorial Hospital will offer vaccines for walk-ins daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Urgent Care Clinic on Ham and Vine streets. The cost is $25. Lodi Memorial patients may also receive the flu vaccine at any of the hospital's clinics, including Millsbridge, West Family Practice and West Pediatrics, all in Lodi; Galt Medical Service; PrimeMed in Ione; and Trinity Family and Multi-Specialty Practice in Stockton. The patient's insurer will be billed.

San Joaquin County Public Health Services will offer the vaccine for adults and children during regular immunization hours through any of its health clinics. The Lodi clinic is open on Fridays from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m., and is located at 300 W. Oak St. The cost is $15.

    Every year my parents get the flu shot and then get the flu.

    Every year I DON'T get the flu shot and it has been years since I got the flu.
