I found one of Robert's previous posts it read, "Lovely place to live huh... Stockton, Lodi, Galt, Elk Grove... What a cesspool.... "

Why dont you move Robert and spare the city your negativity?

Thank you Lodi PD for training and being prepared to rescue my child in school if the worst ever happened.

This is an except from this article: "Butterfield said the training cost the department roughly $200. Lt. Chris Jacobson, Sgt. Val Chaban, Cpl. Sierra Brucia, and detectives Mike Manetti and Carlos Fuentes organized the different scenarios."

Only $200 huh? So these officers (who obviously aren't on the street while doing this training) aren't getting paid for this training? LOL

I've heard a zillion times (from all law enforcement, including Lodi) we don't have any money, and we're going to have to lay off officers. We can't respond to certain calls because we won't have enough officers. Only priority or emergency calls.

So what happened? Did Lodi PD win the lottery? Did the City win the lottery? Did the taxpayers secretly pay extra taxes to the Lodi Police Department so they could be financially solvent?

No, I don't think so. I think the Lodi Police Department cried wolf (some might call it lying) in order to scare the public and anyone else as to get them the money they want in order to continue the unlimited overtime and also to purchase their police toys!

Yes, I'm thinking that is exactly what happened.

The only problem with not being completely honest, is that when you lie you have to keep track of those lies. That's not always easy to do....

Take heart though, they (Lodi PD) aren't the only law enforcement agency who've done this! They should just be honest and go with their (all law enforcement) motto: "Do as we say not as we do" You people must think we're "all" stupid.

    So much for the oath....
