Seven people were arrested and 110 vehicles were stopped as Lodi, Stockton and Manteca police officers patrolled throughout Lodi on Friday night looking for drunken drivers.
Four people were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, along with a drug suspect and two suspected of other criminal charges, according to Lodi Police Sgt. Chris Jacobson.
Lodi police conducted a multi-agency DUI saturation patrol from 8:30 p.m. Friday to 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Five Lodi officers, six from Manteca and two from Stockton participated.
The saturation patrols were funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
In addition to the seven arrests, officers conducted 14 field sobriety tests, issued 23 citations, towed nine vehicles and ordered four unlicensed or suspended drivers to court, Jacobson said.
