The daughter of the woman accused of intentionally running her car into a train Friday is still hospitalized, but is doing well, according to Lodi police.
Sgt. Doug Chinn said the 5-year-old girl is "doing fine."
The girl was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento on Friday after her mother crashed her white Chevrolet Malibu into a train heading north across Pine Street.
Union Pacific Railroad spokesman Aaron Hunt said two trains were held for approximately three hours Friday due to the incident.
The girl's mother, Lodi resident Christine Leach, was arrested on suspicion of the attempted homicide of her daughter and was taken into custody Friday, according a statement released by the Lodi Police Department.
She is scheduled to appear in court this week.
