Lodi Unified School District trustees will discuss the possibility of closing Tokay Colony Elementary School and sending children to either Live Oak or Lockeford elementary schools.
Tokay Colony, located on East Live Oak Road near Jack Tone Road, has 77 or 78 students from kindergarten through sixth grade, said Principal Erin Clark, who also spends time as head of nearby Live Oak Elementary. Tokay Colony has only five kindergarten students and five first-graders, Clark said.
