Nick Iturraran's teachers have never known him to be short on confidence. That's why when Paul Guthrie, architectural design and mechanical drafting teacher at Lodi High School, needed an extra person to round out his team, he picked Iturraran.
"If I'm motivated, then I go crazy," Iturraran said.

Great job Nick! Everyone at LHS will be so proud of you...great example of what hard work can produce.

I can relate. I won the bronze as a sophmore, gold as a junior and silver as a senior in the first year they did the combined computer and manual drafting. Good job to both you and your teachers. Lodi High has done a tremendous job of turning out fine engineering students. The lessons that you learned from Mr. Guthrie and that I learned from Mr. Heinrich have guided me through college and my career.

Congratulations!!! I may be the only reader who know how you feel. I got a silver medal in HVAC in 1991. I will always be a high point in your life. Now go to Delta and take classes from John Larson and you will never have to beg for a job.
