Chet Somera, head of the Lodi Police Department’s Partners Program, began the briefing by thanking the Crime Prevention volunteers for organizing the 34th annual National Night Out.

This is Crime Prevention’s third year organizing the event, with 86 different block parties giving neighborhoods a chance to get to know one another as well as the police officers. Mayor Doug Kuehne also extended his gratitude to Crime Prevention for their role in putting the event together.
