An 18-year-old reported gang member was arrested Friday for a non-injury shooting that took place in Galt on Wednesday afternoon. Joel Anaya, of Sacramento, was arrested at around 7:30 a.m. by the Galt Police Department at the suspect's residence, according to Lt. Jim Uptegrove with Galt police. The Sacramento SWAT team assisted with the arrest, which Uptegrove said happens often for violent crimes that involve firearms.
Anaya, who police say is a known Norteno gang member, is accused of firing a small handgun multiple times at a Sureno gang member in the Harvey Park area of Galt on Wednesday. Although police were unable to locate Anaya or the victim the day of the incident, information from witnesses eventually led investigators to both individuals, Uptegrove said. The victim cooperated with police.

Huh?
It says "Joel Anaya, of Sacramento, was arrested at his residence in Galt"
Doesnt that make him a resident of Galt?
I agree with Joe Baxter. The harder we come down on these gang members hopefully the better. They should be treated as terrorist.

Headline should have read :
" Swat team forced to fatally shoot norteno gang member after he pointed a gun at police"
End of another gang banger...
