A police officer tased a loose dog that was becoming aggressive around civilians on Sunday, according to the Galt Police Department.
An officer responded around 3:26 p.m. to Lake Canyon Park after police received reports of a chow growling and snarling around people, Galt Police Sgt. Charles Dedricksen said. As the officer tried to subdue the dog, it became irritated and showed signs that it might attack the officer.
