Lockeford Community Services District board members will hear an update on efforts to construct its first park at Thursday’s meeting.
A 4-acre park with a new community center and caretaker home is planned on Jack Tone Road, south of Locke Road. A proposal to sell brick or granite plaques for park supplies and maintenance will be discussed as well.
The board will also consider filing an application to San Joaquin County’s Local Agency Formation Commission to annex 95 acres owned by Jack Kautz to build a subdivision east of Tully Road near Lockeford Elementary School. Construction of the subdivision has been on hold since the recession began.
Thursday’s board meeting will begin at 9 a.m. in the Old Lockeford Schoolhouse, 19456 N. Jack Tone Road.
