Public mental health meeting set

The community is invited to hear about mental health and substance abuse from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the C.M. "Bud" Sullivan Community Room at the Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust St.

Becky Gould, San Joaquin County's deputy substance abuse director, will give a presentation, and Lodi Clinic Director Treva "Sue" Strain will discuss the combination of mental illness and substance abuse.

Mayor JoAnn Mounce will give a welcome address.
