Downtown Lodi will soon have a bistro with vintage-style entertainment. Called The Rustic Mic Entertainment House and Bistro, the upscale eatery will have coffee, an espresso bar, beer, wine and desserts. But owner Jaime Watts hopes people will come for the live music, blues, jazz, pianos and vintage movies on an 80-inch TV.

“I hope to open in a couple of weeks,” Watts said on Monday.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
