The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:

Monday

Lodi Library Board of Trustees

Key items:

  • Adopt the Lodi Public Library holiday schedule to reflect city-wide furloughs.
  • Approve a new library facilities naming policy.
  • Elect officers, appoint committee members and choose a liasion to the Lodi Public Library Foundation.

When and where: 5:30 p.m., Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust St., Lodi.

Lodi Animal Advisory Committee

Key item: Discuss shelter statistics for July.

When and where: 6 p.m., Lodi Police Department, Community Room, 215 W. Elm St., Lodi.

Greater Lodi Area Youth Commission

When and where: 7 p.m., Hutchins Street Square, Cottage Room, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.

Galt Youth Committee

When and where: 6 p.m., Galt City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Tuesday

Lodi City Council shirtsleeves meeting

Key items: Review fleet maintenance operations.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Lodi Improvement Committee

Key items: Take a bus tour of the Cherokee Lane project.

When and where: 6 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

Key items:

  • Agreements with California Department of Food and Agriculture to trap European Grapevine moths, nursery inspection and enforcement light brown apple moth regulatory services and Asian psyllid detection services.
  • Settlement of lawsuit by William Little for $75,000. Little claimed medical malpractice at San Joaquin General Hospital.

When and where: 9 a.m., board chambers, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.

Galt Joint Union High School District board of trustees

When and where: 6:30 p.m., Galt City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Wednesday

Lodi City Council

Key items:

  • Consider the termination of Southwest Gateway and Westside Project Development agreements with Frontier Community Buildings.
  • Approve Downtown Lodi Business Partnership annual report and set public hearing to consider levying the annual assessment for Sept. 19.
  • Adopt a resolution certifying the negative declaration as adequate environmental documentation and approve the master plans and schedule of fees for water, wastewater, storm drainage and bicycle impact mitigation fees.
  • Give a presentation for the firefighter of the year award to Fire Captain Chris Allen.

When and where: 7 a.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Thursday

Galt Beautification Committee

When and where: 3:30 p.m., Galt City Hall community room, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl.
