Two arrested at known ‘drug house,’ say police

Updated

Officers of the Lodi Police Department made two arrests on Friday while conducting routine surveillance of a known drug house, say police.

Special investigations unit detectives checked out a residence on the 2100 block of Newbury Circle at 1:45 p.m. and found Sundeep Singh in front of the house. Singh had a $150,000 felony warrant out for his arrest, according to police. He was also in possession of stolen property, including a laptop taken from Jim Elliot High School on Dec. 18. He was arrested, the laptop recovered, and officers booked him into the Lodi jail.

Bryan Schaffner was stopped in a vehicle while trying to leave the location. Inside the car was more than 12 grams of heroin, said police. Schaffner was arrested on charges of drug possession, transportation, and drug paraphernalia and taken to jail, police said.  Arresting officers included Det. Sean Blanford, Terry Locaso and Nick Rafiq.
