Two Lodi men are in custody after allegedly brandishing a firearm from a vehicle early Thursday morning, police said.

Roberto Rivera, 26, and Luis Hernandez, 23, were apprehended during a vehicle stop on the 100 block of South School Street after witness reports led officers to pull over and inspect their vehicle, Sgt. Fernando Martinez of the Lodi Police Department said.

Sigh.....sigh again.....it's fascinating to see how Doug reacts to his own medicine. Inviting bloggers to his home but refusing invitations from others to hear their side of the story. Demanding civility on one hand but continually bashing the CC, LNS and anyone else he doesn't know. Investigations, grand jury indictments and arrests are always right around the corner but nothing ever develops. It's really quite sad and pathetic. The good news is that Doug is trying to make a difference in the lives of those he sees as most needy. They don't always appreciate what he is trying to do but he hasn't given up. If Doug would just try to be more inclusive and not so divisive he might be able to accomplish more. Doug has made some huge mistakes in his lifetime and I believe is trying to make up for those lost years by "doing good". He just needs to lose the bitterness and hatred.

Hummm... Doug is doing his best to make LNS an unpleasant place to be.... he then enthusiastically suggests that lodi360.com is a good place to blog as it has civility rules and requirements... somehow, in addition, Doug stated he hopes Lodi360 takes the place of LNS as Lodi's paper.... I wonder if there is a relationship between Doug's behavior here and his desire to attract people away from LNS... Seems like something smells here.

Bob, the creator and webmaster welcomes any and all comments, stories, suggestions or criticism as long as the content is deemed to be truthful, unlike the Sentinel, who lets bloggers like Joe Baxter continue to stalk me and spread his seemingly deep hate for Mexicans, while bragging of his prowess of having a permit to carry a concealed weapon, like he's using that fact as a threat to others on the Sentinel's poorly run website and questionable ability of their webmaster. Lodi360 will hopefully soon replace the Sentinel and their never ending spin on anything Lodi, as the news hub of normal, everyday people without Galt news and constant feelgood stories? of Lodi and the good ol" boys and girls who think they still own and run this littlle town.

www.lodi360.com has a rrelated crime article the Sentineel missed. See it at www.lodi360.com. Great article and many photos actually LPD doing their peerilous job and pictures of those apprehended by LPD. Great job, Mr. Colgan. Today's issue of the Lodi News-Sentinel seems to be focused on the city of Galt. Maybe the Sentinel is not doing so well there?

Wonder if these are a couple of fine young men that were mentored by Doug Chaney?
