From Friday through Sunday, the Lodi Police Department will conduct “Zero Tolerance” DUI Saturation Patrols, the department said in a press release Thursday. The officers will be on the road looking for drivers who show signs of intoxication, police said.
Like the DUI checkpoints, this weekend’s patrols are funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The patrols will start at about 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
