David Harmer, who won the Republican primary last week for the 11th Congressional District, raised about $600,000 for his campaign, he said.

A story in the May 29 edition of the News-Sentinel gave the Federal Election Commission's figure of $1,562,396. Harmer said that number includes money raised for a special election in neighboring District 10 last year, when he lost to Democrat John Garamendi.
