The Lodi Boys and Girls Club is accepting nominations for its 2013 Lodi Community Hall of Fame.
When judges consider inducting a local citizen into the Hall of Fame, they consider the nominee’s success, leadership and dedication in such areas as education, business, health care, athletics, arts, agriculture, government and community service.
The Boys and Girls Club is urging Lodi-area residents to think about friends and family members who should be nominated for the Hall of Fame.
“Everyone who does a lot for the community and has for a number of years should be recognized,” said Barbara Brovelli, chairwoman for the Hall of Fame dinner.
To be eligible, a person must have lived within the Lodi Unified School District at some time.
Nomination forms are available at three locations in Lodi: the Lodi Boys & Girls Club, 244 Poplar St.; Lodi Public Library, 201 W. Locust St.; and the Lodi News-Sentinel, 125 N. Church St. The form can also be downloaded from the Internet at www.lodinews.com/hof.
Once completed, the forms can be turned in at the Boys & Girls Club or the News-Sentinel. The deadline to nominate a Lodi-area resident for this honor is July 1.
