Lodi residents can leave their sweaters in their closet for another week, because this warm weather is set to linger.
Temperatures are expected to hover in the low 80s and sunny skies will likely stick around through much of the week, according to meteorologist Ken Clark of AccuWeather.com, a private weather forecasting service. Temperatures won’t fluctuate much from the warm weather felt throughout the Valley so far this month.
In fact, Monday’s high was 83 degrees. The average high for this time of year is 76 degrees.
“You can’t get better weather than this in mid and late October,” said Clark, who added that the temperatures are a result of a dominating high-pressure system.
In the evenings, residents can expect clear skies and temperatures to drop to the mid to upper 40s.
Temperatures should stay in the 80s until the weekend, when cooler weather will start to prevail. The daytime high for Oct. 28 is expected to be 74 degrees, lower than the average for this time of year.
