The rain that pelted the Lodi area during the weekend and Monday is over.
Now you can look forward to foggy mornings but spring-like afternoons all week, according to AccuWeather.com, a private forecasting service.
Today’s high temperature should reach 60 degrees, but it will be in the midto high 60s the remainder of the week, according to AccuWeather meteorologist Mike Pigott.
Thick morning and evening fog should reach the Lodi area late in the week and through the weekend, Pigott said. Lows will be in the 40s.
Kirkwood Ski Resort on Highway 88 reported 42 inches of snow from Thursday night to Monday morning, and more snow was falling Monday. Chains or snow tires were required on Highway 88 through Monday from three and a half miles west of Silver Lake in Amador County to five miles west of Pickett’s Junction in Alpine County.
It wasn’t clear Monday night when Highway 88 would reopen at the higher elevations. However, Pigott forecasts no more snow this week in the mountains.
