The LOEL Center has proposed taking over some of the senior programs at Hutchins Street Square, including help with taxes, legal issues and health insurance.

The idea was discussed enthusiastically by members of the Lodi City Council during an early morning study session.

Of course, as usual, Katzakian didn't have anything to say? Loel Center is already stretched to the limit and could use a larger facility like Hutchins Street Square has to offer. Why not use the beautiful facilities there and give them a cheap rent like you do Lodi Health for the low cost baby sitting services and adult care? Did you build the Taj Mahal for everyone to just look at? Of course the three amigos want to dump the financial responsibility off on someone else? And what will those who live on the eastside do to travel to HSS that don't have transportation? Didn't Loel buy those overpriced properties that those seniors live in at reduced rents in the middle of the worst drug and gang area in Lodi and now want to consider moving to the affluent west side location. Well, three amigos, here's your chance to further blight the east side and pander to your big contributors, wealthy, well connected and business associate friends, not to mention Lodi Health? We'd expect nothing but the best from the three amigos with their three dominant votes.
