A group that opposes the proposed Peripheral Canal has produced a movie which organizers say shows both sides of the issue.

Over Troubled Waters” will be shown  at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hutchins Street Square, 125 S. Hutchins St., Lodi.

The film is produced by a group called Restore the Delta, which includes farmers, fishermen and environmentalists who want to protect the Delta’s way and life, according to the organization’s website. A question-and-answer session involving water experts will be held after the film.

Tickets are available at Hutchins Street Square or through the movie’s website, www.overtroubledwaters.org.

Should graduations return to the Grape Bowl?

Lodi Unified leaders are moving Lodi and Tokay high school graduations from the Grape Bowl to the Spanos Center at UOP in Stockton. They cite limited seating, costs and unpredictable weather at the Grape Bowl. But others say graduations at the Grape Bowl are an important Lodi tradition, and one reason many supported renovating the stadium. What do you think?
