San Joaquin Delta College will host its annual "College Night" program on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in Marcopulos Gym.

The event provides the opportunity for high school students to meet with more than 50 visiting four-year university representatives from California State University, University of California, out-of-state and private/independent colleges and universities.

High school students are encouraged to attend the welcome session at 5:30 p.m. in the Tillie Lewis Theater for "Discover the Delta College Transfer Advantage." Students will learn how to complete their first two years at Delta College, then transfer as a junior to a four-year university. Other specialized transfer workshops will cover CSU and UC admission requirements, independent/private college admission requirements and financial aid resources.

A variety of Delta College programs and services will also be on display.

For the complete workshop schedule, contact the Transfer Center at 954-5151, ext. 6218, or visit ctc.deltacollege.edu.
