Pictures of standardized testing materials were found on social networking sites, prompting State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson to advise superintendents and testing coordinators to follow security policies more closely.
Most of the photos are of students posing with the closed test booklet, blank answer sheets, or answer sheets with messages on them. Some included test questions or completed answer sheets from current Standardized Testing and Reporting Program or California High School Exit Examination tests. Schools across the state currently are administering both the STAR and CAHSEE examinations.
