A father and son were arrested simultaneously for allegedly assaulting a neighbor in Lodi on Wednesday night.
Terry Lee Blehm, 57, and Terry William Blehm, 30, were arrested on the 0 block of Applewood Drive after an altercation in which shots were fired and man was cut, said Sgt. Fernando Martinez of the Lodi Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving a call at 7:46 p.m. about a fight and gunshots in the area, he said.
“From what we understand, the argument started over an ongoing dispute between the neighbors,” Martinez said.
Terry William Blehm and the victim were arguing when Terry Lee Blehm fired two warning shots from a small caliber semi-automatic pistol, police said. The victim also received a laceration from a knife during the assault, according to authorities.
Police arrived at the scene and held the two at gunpoint before taking them into custody, Martinez said.
