SCT/Link is changing its Highway 99 Express bus service to offer new stops and better connections. The service will provide direct access from Lodi and Galt to Elk Grove and southern Sacramento County. It debuts Monday.
New stops at Cosumnes River College, Kaiser South Sacramento Hospital and Methodist Hospital will allow residents to access more services and employment centers by transit.
The service offers hourly connections to most local routes in the e-tran service from Cosumnes River College, and connections to Sacramento Regional Transit's 54, 55 and 56 lines. Cosumnes River College is also the location for the Sacramento Regional Transit Blue Line light rail extension from Meadowview, scheduled to open in 2015.
