Someone fired a gunshot through the side window of a residence, which hit a sliding glass door on the other side, according to Lodi police. Three people were home, but no one was struck by the bullet, police said.
The incident took place at about 11 p.m. Friday in the area of Mendocino Drive and Hutchins Street.

Man found dead in jail cell
A man arrested Friday night by Stockton police on suspicion of felony domestic violence was found dead Saturday in his jail cell in French Camp, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.
Alejandro Correa Ferreyra, 37, was found hanging in his single-occupancy cell at 1:44 a.m. Saturday, according to a sheriff's report. Life-saving measures took place, but he was pronounced dead at 2:29 a.m. at a local hospital, according to the report.
The county's Officer-Involved Critical Incident Protocol team will investigate the incident. The protocol team consists of members of the Sheriff's Office and the county District Attorney's Office.
GOP congressional hopefuls speak tonight
Six Republican candidates hoping to unseat Rep. Jerry McNerney, D-Pleasanton, from his 11th District seat, will participate in a forum at 6:30 p.m. today at Crossroads Grace Community church 1505 Moffat Blvd., Manteca.

State Senate candidate gets four endorsements
Assemblyman Tom Berryhill, R-Oakdale, has announced the endorsement of four Modesto City Council members in his bid for the 14th Senate District seat, which includes the Lodi area.
Modesto Mayor Jim Ridenour and Council members Dave Geer, Joe Muratore and Kristin Olsen have endorsed Berryhill, according to his campaign.
Berryhill, brother of 26th District Assemblyman Bill Berryhill, is running for the seat of State Sen. Dave Cogdill, R-Modesto. Cogdill announced recently that he will not seek re-election this year. He will instead run for Stanislaus County assessor.
Goehring endorsed by San Ramon official
San Ramon Vice Mayor Dave Hudson has endorsed Republican Brad Goehring of Clements for the seat held by 11th Congressional District Rep. Jerry McNerney, D-Pleasanton.
According to his campaign, Goehring was previously endorsed by San Joaquin County Sheriff Steve Moore, Contra Costa County Sheriff Warren Rupf, Assemblyman Bill Berryhill, R-Ceres, Manteca Mayor Willie Weatherford, the San Joaquin Farm Bureau and the American Builders and Contractors.
