A Lodi man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl at knifepoint in a Cherokee Lane hotel last week appeared in court Friday.
Lodi Police along with U.S. Marshals arrested John Ganoe, 44, Monday after a four-day long manhunt.
A San Joaquin County Superior Court judge postponed Ganoe's arraignment to June 10 while authorities continue their investigation. Ganoe, of Lodi, requested a public defender and is being held in San Joaquin County Jail on $1,078,000 bail.
Ganoe, who appeared in shackles and an orange jumpsuit, was arrested on suspicion of rape, lewd acts upon a child, oral copulation, exhibiting a weapon that wasn't a firearm and terrorist threats.
