Democratic incumbent Alyson Huber has raised $161,644 and Republican challenger Jack Sieglock has gathered $80,550 in campaign contributions as of Aug. 2.

Many of Huber's donations have come from unions, political action committees and other Democratic incumbents. Most of Sieglock's have come from banks, developers and private citizens, many of whom live in the Lodi area.

How anyone can look at this list and still vote for Huber is beyond me. Literally none of her support comes from actual citizens within her district! It's all unions and interests from outside. Sieglock seems to have a lot more support from his actual constituency. As far as 'banks and developers' go, I saw three banks totaling $1100 and I think four developers totaling $5950. Hardly anything.
You gotta ask yourself who you want your rep to answer to once elected, citizens or special interests.

I thought people weren't supposed to be allowed to blog under anonymous names?

If you look at who is supporting who.... I guess you could say... if you appreciate the value of unions... vote for Alyson ... if you think unions are not beneficial to our society... vote for Jack
