City Thrift opens in Lodi’s old DMV building
Clocks, kitten figurines, vases, shoes and televisions can all be purchased at the newly opened City Thrift, located in the old DMV building on East Pine Street.

Location: 700 E. Pine St. (old DMV building),
Lodi.
Hours: Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4
p.m.
Want to volunteer? Show up during store hours
or phone the shop.
Want to donate? Bring it in. Call ahead of time
if you want someone to pick up your items or if you have a large
item such as furniture.
Grand opening: Mid-May, which will include a
barbecue.

They may not be the new kind of TVs you’ll find on living room
walls these days, but you can get the 1990s types for $10 to $13
while contributing to the homeless and otherwise needy.
City Thrift, located in Lodi’s old Department of Motor Vehicles
building, is the ninth thrift shop in Lodi to open its doors. City
Thrift opened at 9 a.m. Monday and will be open every day except
Sunday.
