On the Omega Nu stage at Hutchins Street Square, Sunday evening, the Lodi Community Band began playing the national anthem. A young boy wearing a Captain America t-shirt heard the patriot tune and abandoned playing with the slide to put his hand over his heart in salute of America.

It was the band’s End of Summer Concert, celebrating Americana with songs like America the Beautiful, and the Pink Panther and Superman theme songs, and childrens favorites such as the Pirates of the Carribean sountrack.
