A day after what Lodi police believe was a gang-related shooting, investigators on Friday were still looking for the victim's vehicle, as well as witnesses and a second shooter.

They also do not know if was connected to a Wednesday night shooting.

I went to school with mexicans and they never tried to get me in their gangs. You people are just making stories of what you see on the television about mexicans. And think about who buys the majority weed and heroin its the white kids. And by the way you guys are forgiting to write "white power" after your comments.

They try it, but you never see them except at the cemetary---frozen because of the 20 below temp, and no free food and clothing. I won't eat Mexican food. It reminds me what the illegals have done to our country. These Mexican Nationals are invaders, it's time to kick them out! ANDALE---!

I have watched as illegal Mexican aliens have been invading our country. They first move to the cities where they can hide or collect welfare. They try selling dope and are now the number one source of Heroin and marijuana and speed. Thanks Mexico. But there is one thing Mexican citizens HATE. The cold. I noticed that none of them move into the remote areas of Idaho. There is limited welfare payola, its very cold, and if you go "missing", no one will find you, and NO one will care....Just like in Mexico.

These kid are students and they are taking their gang disease with them to school. Pull your kids out of these gang school until the principals and police flush the criminals out. The teachers should get combat pay for being around these little helions. I think they should treat any kid over 7 years old as an adult. See how many kids act like hooligans then?

Ralph, get off that Mexican weed you're smokin' buddy! If you drive around eastside Lodi, there's NOTHING BUT Mexican gangs and thugs! KKK people may be around still, but you don't see them out in the open commiting crimes and doing drive by shootings like the blacks and mexicans! That is a fact!

The KKK is still around huh? Tell or show me one place you have ever seen them. Just one. Thats all. It doesnt even have to be here in Lodi. Just cite me one instance anywhere lately. I can show you one intance of mexican gangs just open up the paper any day of the week. I never said mass deportations would ever happen, I just said that is the only way this problem will ever be solved.

many gang memebers are legal and "mass deportations" which are never going to happen will ruin Lodi. Whos going to pick the the grapes in lodi those are some of the hardest working people in America. And the KKK is still around do not try to hide that fact because that is just ignorant.

The KKK? Are you kidding me. What year are you living in. Face the facts there are no white gangs in Lodi. One hundred percent of the gang members in this town are Mexican. Deep down you know I am right, you will only admit it when the violence effects you. Mass deportations are the only thing that will solve this problem once and for all.

gangs are in every city, and do not try to say whites do not have gangs, white gangs like the kkk are still around today and i would not doubt if some of theses people who write these comments are in KKK.

Many of these ilegals were criminals before they left their homeland. That's why they CAN'T come here legally. Then they come here to commit more crimes, join gangs, have many kids out of wedlock, rob, kill, etc. These are invaders, and the war already started. But too many people with their heads in the sand, and won't wake up until something happens to their families.

Both their parents have to work because at one time these children's parents were illegals, taking our free services and food stamps, not learning the national language of English, and sending their own kids to English speaking schools, not knowing the language.

When have you driven around Lodi and have seen gangs of "Caucasions" out and about and roaming the streets of eastside? Yes, they primarily are Hispanic!! They are coming from a generation of illegals who never educated themselves because the parents refused to learn English! Therefore they too never broke the cycle!

Local Dad: I've got a handle on my kids now how do we make/force other parents to do their job? The kids of parents that do not do their job still need to be dealt with.

You people are unbelievable. I don't deny there are gang problems but maybe if parents were actually parenting and active in their kids lives they would not seek a sense of belonging some place else. Hilarious again bring up mexican gangs maybe you should wake up and realize its not just mexicans in these gangs FOOL!!!!!

I moved from San Jose to Lodi to get away from the gangs and shootings. Look at things here now, it looks like San Jose 15 yrs ago. Society has taken the ability for the parents to give our kids a swift boot in the A$$. Kids know this and have the attitude of "what can you do to me?" Most parents are fed up and can't get a grip on their kids. Time for society to take the power and give it back to the adults and not the kids.

it is sad that we blame a certain race but the facts are the facts as sad as it may be. blame the parents ok i agree with also. but just cuz both partents work in the home dont mean this is the answer. all kinds of kids have both parents working and arent involved in gangs. that is just a poor excuse

You have a Mexican gang problem bigger than you are willing to admit. Keep hiding in the closet. From the news, this morning, they also found some Mexican drug dealers near an area where there was gun fire. The Mexican catrels obvious are using the Lodi area as a central location. Under your Kum Bye Ya nose.

Thats right people blame their race, blame the police, bottom line where are the parents?? Could it be that we have created a society that both parents have to work and these kids are seeking a sense of family and belonging?? At some point we all need to own what we have created and stop looking to blame it on someones ethnicity or not enough law enforcement. Fixing the problem starts and stops in the home parent your children or quit whining

These young chicken s*&ts should be settling their disputes the old way- one on one, no guns.

If your life is not in "imminent danger", using a gun will only land you in prison. A place where "I" have to pay for your incarceration.

Kick dirt, get outta my country, or settle your issues and move on and be a productive member of society.

If you break into a house, threaten a family, that's when I wish ALL homeowners would step up with a high caliber gun & hit their target.

In broad daylight at 4:00 in the afternoon. My husband and I were in that neighborhood at about an hour before. It's scary to think that normal citizens driving in those neighbhorhoods, innocent children walking home from school, passers-by, etc. could be shot from errant bullets and from the madness and mayhem. What compels gang bangers to just want to inflict harm and possible death onto people? I just don't get it.
