The Sacramento County Coroner's Office has identified a man who was killed Saturday when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into the rear of a cattle trailer on Highway 99.
Robert Moses Zamora, 43, of Galt was northbound north of Twin Cities Road at a high rate of speed around 1:40 a.m. when he ran into the back of a pick-up truck pulling the trailer, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Zamora was en route to work and died at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation as officers seek to determine whether lights on the trailer were working properly. The CHP is also awaiting a toxicology report.
