A parolee at large suspected of domestic violence was arrested Friday night after allegedly running from an officer and dropping a backpack with a sawed-off shotgun inside, according to Lodi police.

Clyde Phillip Higby, 30, was apprehended last night by an officer after a police dog bit him at Stockton and Vine streets, police said. He was booked at Lodi jail on suspicion of obstructing a police officer.
