After being re-elected in the June 5 primary, San Joaquin County District 4 Supervisor Chuck Winn is making plans to continue addressing issues such as marijuana legalization, water, homelessness and economic development.

An opponent of marijuana legalization, Winn plans to vote against a tax measure on November’s ballot that would allow recreational marijuana businesses in the county, believing the potential tax revenue will not be enough to recover the costs of law enforcement, regulation and social services, and that it could lead to an increase in abuse by minors.
