The Woodbridge Irrigation District Board of Directors approved a water rate increase at its Thursday morning meeting as costs for improvements and equipment rise.
The board voted 4-0 for the hike, which will increase water rates from $16.14 to $18.25 per acre-foot used by property owners within the district. Rates will increase by $1 each year until 2017.
