Students attending Lodi, Bear Creek and McNair high schools for the past two years have taken social science classes that were modeled differently. At these schools, college prep classes blended with the general classes.
College prep classes meet the A-G requirements for a student to enter state universities, while general classes are remedial-level classes that only meet the high school graduation requirement. By combining the two, the new blended courses still meet A-G requirements.
