Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash, two Eastside attacks mar weekend

A 22-year-old man not wearing a helmet was seriously injured early Sunday morning after his motorcycle crashed at Valley Avenue and Fawnhaven Way in southeast Lodi, according to Lodi police and UC Davis Medical Center officials.

Jose Quevedo, whose residence is unknown, was taken to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento shortly after midnight Sunday, police Sgt. Eric Versteeg. On Monday afternoon, he was in fair condition, the medical center said.

    I see I made a typo. Should read, "The man who stabbed him got away, but officers have his identity, police said."
