The following is a list of public meetings in the Lodi and Galt areas this week:


Galt City Council

Key items:

  • Appropriate $21,000 for consultant services related to the dissolution of the Redevelopment Agency.
  • Provide direction for citywide water meter retrofitting.
  • Discuss and provide direction regarding the State Legislature’s suspension of the Brown Act.
  • Approve the request for discretionary funds for food for National Night Out.
  • Hear presentations from the finance department on special assessments, and from the Parks and Recreation Department on partnerships with the After School Education and Safety (ASES) and Meals on Wheels programs.

When and where: 7 p.m., Galt City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.


San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors

Key items:

  • Appoint a low-income representative to the Thornton Community Center Advisory Board.
  • Honor county employees retiring this year and those who have served 25 years or more. Ceremony begins at 1:30 p.m.

When and where: 9 a.m., board chambers, 44 N. San Joaquin St., sixth floor, Stockton.

Lodi City Council

Key item: Tour the Lodi Animal Shelter and learn about what happens to injured, lost or found pets, the process of pet adoption and how to be a responsible pet owner.

When and where: 7 a.m. Lodi Animal Shelter, 1345 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi.

Lodi Recreation Commission

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

Morada Municipal Advisory Council

When and where: 7 p.m., Waterloo-Morada fire station, 6925 Foppiano Lane, Morada.

Lodi Unified School District

Key items:

  • A resolution with Pacific Gas and Electric to enter into an energy conservation contract.
  • A quarterly report on the Williams and Valenzuela Settlements.

When and where: 7 p.m. James Areida Education Support Center 1305 East Vine Street, Lodi.


Lodi Planning Commission

Key items:

  • Consider recommending the city council approve a growth management allocation that would allow applicant John Giannoni to permit and construct 12 residential units at 2110 Tienda Drive.
  • Consider a use permit and a SPARC review to allow a gas station, a 3,078-square-foot convenience store that sells beer and wine and a drive-thru carwash at 255 E. Harney Lane. The applicant is Peter Tobin on behalf of Hardev Singh Gill.
  • Consider a use permit to allow a winery Alcoholic Beverage Control license at 20 W. Elm St. The applicant is Erin Taylor on behalf of Riaza Wines.
  • Receive a staff presentation on the draft development code section 2 for commercial and industrial districts.

Lodi Arts Commission

Key items:

  • Discuss a community art show.
  • Receive updates on the Art Advisory Board, the Art Hope, the Arts Calendar and website, the Lodi Arts Foundation and speaking engagements.

When and where: 1 p.m., Carnegie Forum, 305 W. Pine St., Lodi.

Galt Parks and Recreation Commission

When and where: 7 p.m., Galt City Hall City Council chambers, 380 Civic Drive, Galt.

Woodbridge Sanitary District board

When and were: 7 p.m., fire station classroom, 400 E. Augusta St., Woodbridge.

Lodi Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee

The regularly scheduled meeting is canceled.

When and where: 2 p.m., Croce & Co., 501 W. Weber Ave., fifth floor, Stockton.
